There used to be a time when Republicans were decent. For instance, if they nominated a Supreme Court justice who wasn't suited for the job (because they were a toadie for Nixon, had a tenuous grasp of constitutional law, etc), they had the sense and respectability to withdraw the nom.

Now, they'll ram through anybody they want. Why? Because f*** democrats, that's why. This attitude is why they stuck with Roy Moore, why they still stick with Trump, Gaetz, MTG, etc.[/quote]
