Wes Moore seems to be the progressive candidate, using social programs to help poor and underrepresented communities.  Peter Franchot is the Comptroller, so he's very in tune with how government works and especially the budget.  I decided to go with Wes because I believe in helping poor people.  He ran a foundation with a budget of nearly $200million and has worked on a lot of legislature for the state.  I'd like to see him as governor, but Peter is an old white dude and might win over the moderates, I think he'd be a safer bet against the republican.  I'm taking a risk.
