The word "fat" is loaded. "Fat" is relative. There's a world of difference between a size 14 and a size 24. Some women don't think of themselves as particularly fat at a size 14, others do. So I think people were objecting to your casual use of the of the F word. FWIW, according to statistics, the average American woman is a size 14.
And if the average size continues increasing over the next few decades and size 24 is the new average, would that no longer be considered fat? The word fat was used as a description, not an insult. I didn't say it looks good on "fatties" (which would be insulting), I said it looks nice on fat women, just like I might remark that a certain pant style looks nice on tall women. Thanks for letting me know what the objections were about. I think it's sad that the PP got so bent out of shape about my use of the descriptive word such as 'fat', but then went on to use inarguably sexist, derogatory language in a tangential response to my post. I do think the preppy style looks nice on fat women, and I think the PP at 21:18 shouldn't care about the shallow people who'd have a problem with her wearing white jeans. I don't think most people who are secure with themselves would have a problem seeing a woman in properly-fitting white pants.
