Yes, I always advice students to get at least a minor in something STEM/ hard business (finance/accounting/economics) if they don't absolutely hate math/science.  get whatever major you that excites you, any LA degree will build your critical thinking and develop high level writing skills.  But having that STEM/business background will help you have an advantage for getting jobs.  While the tech companies do hire people for marketing/writing jobs/etc, it certainly helps to have some STEM background if you want to go into technical writing or marketing at a technical company.  It just opens more doors for you[/quote]
