What they do is important to our society and it takes a lot of skill and knowledge to do it well. Why shouldn’t we pay them accordingly?[/quote] When you factor things like retirement int their 50s with a decent pension and only having to work less than 180 days per year the pay doesn't seem that bad.[/quote]
