1. People like Elrich because he’s a genuine person who doesn’t judge people. Sure he hates corporate profits, but he never judges people. There is a lot of judging in our politics and Elrich fights hard against that. Whether you are rich or poor, live in a house or apartment, Elrich is happy for you to live your life. 2. Elrich loves every part of this county. If you go around you will surprisingly see Elrich signs in every nook and cranny. There’s signs in Takoma Park, Silver Spring, Aspen Hill, Chevy Chase, Edgemoor, Potomac, Gaithersburg, etc. He enjoys broad geographic support across the county because he supports every part of the county. He’s not trying to malign your neighborhood as evil “sprawl” or try to divest resources from your community. He wants every community to thrive. While he’s certainly not everyone’s cup of tea, astute politicians should learn a lesson from Elrich in how to do politics. I will be voting for Blair because I think breaking the TPSS stranglehold on county politics is critically important. And we need some fresh ideas for jobs growth and Riemer is just a clown.
You must not work with him. Because I do. He's horrific and surrounds himself with his coterie of like-minded advisors.
I don’t work for him nor care about your HR grievances. Don’t like your boss, find another job. The point is only that he’s the only candidate I’ve ever seen have his signs out front of $4 million houses and also have strong support from unions and underrepresented minority groups. It’s an incredible coalition for its breadth, but I guess not depth.
