I know two UMC kids there who went to decent private schools and were unhappy with the number of spoiled and entitled students there. Like, off-the-charts, unable to be a friend or think of others kind of entitled.  But schools get what they deserve. If you only take the perfect resumes, you’re going to attract a lot of self-centered,  win-at-all-costs, lie and cheat personalities that often come with it. Nice campus, location, and education though. [/quote]

I think the problem is how much they leaned into ED. That’s why you have huge numbers of rich and entitled students nowadays.  I went there in the early 90s and there were some ultra rich kids but not many. Tuition was also in the high teens to low 20s then . I loved my time there but there is no way it is worth $80,000 and they lost some of my respect with their reliance on ED.[/quote]
