I was trying to imagine DC area equivalents of a good Baltimore diner — since the ones from my youth are long gone. Maybe I should have suggested the Florida Avenue Grill — but I haven’t personally been there since COVID, and I’m not positive that they have fries. Favorites to check in Baltimore would include Jimmy’s and Sip N Bite. And the Dog House. Sadly, I can’t remember the name of the place with the duck fat fries — but they probably don’t have gravy.
