SRO's dont really provide a benefit for external security.  They do however help with internal security so I would keep them in secondary schools.  As a parent I am more concerned about maintenance of the physical structure which seems to be getting the short straw both in terms of attention and resources.[/quote]

By physical structure, do you mean doors, metal detectors, windows, fencing, etc.? [/quote]
