OP here, that was not me posting about Conferederate flags. I don't think that'sthe case in this particular neighborhood.

It is not in the DC area. It is in a large city in the northeast. I think the neighborhood is basically a White middle class neighborhood. What I have read is there are a lot of Trump supporters and anti-maskers, as well as Blue Lives Matter flags. I have read that the schools are not friendly places for students of color. Which is probably the case for a lot of schools even non Trumpy ones. My friend and her husband are White so that may not impact them as much. I do hear the demographics are changing but there are news stories within the past year of Trump supporting groups from this neighborhood.[/quote]
