He just didn't end up resonating enough with voters. But he's definitely impressive and has a strong career ahead of him. I know people who know him personally, and they say he was always clearly headed for big things. I hope it's more than cable news, though. Post-transportation secretary I could maybe see him high up in university administration and then eventually in a higher profile cabinet position (like Sec of State). Unless the US electorate changes significantly or Buttigieg does, I struggle to see him winning nationwide office.[/quote]
