The bragging on this board is so annoying - congrats to your kid, but was it necessary to say "one sitting" for the SAT score?  That's not relevant at ALL!

For what it's worth, my kid also received merit to Case, but we turned it down.  If you want STEM and you're okay with the corporate/vocational vibe at Case (this is how current Case students describe it), then it can be a good fit.  If you want something resembling a more traditional college experience, that may not be Case.

Pp here - my kid applied and was accepted, then visited and didn’t like the fit, so declined.  That’s usually how it works.  Not everyone has money to travel to a dozen schools in advance of applying to them.  Also, my comment about corporate vibe is only meant to help inform - it isn’t out of the blue - read the Case newspaper and the editorial board literally said as much.[/quote]
