I get that some people are (rightly!!) upset with the administration re: SD location moving and the bus situation, but can anyone speak to how it's been for their children? How are academics? Are your kids happy at LAMB? Are they learning? Are they enjoying school? What is teacher turnover like, etc? Thanks!
The admin and Board are 100% throughout trash. They lie to parents, treat us like garbage, beg for money and change their mind on a dime. There seems to be a lot of administrators which is odd Bc they’re always saying how short staffed they are. The bus thing for example is really shocking. I’m surprised some parents didn’t go to the media to discuss how they were treated. The teachers have been wonderful for my kids who love their school. I don’t know how they find these amazing teachers and I honestly pray they won’t leave due to the clown show administration. One of my kids has special education needs and they are getting what they need which is way more than I can say about dcps. The biggest reason for lamb’s poor admin has to be that they keep promoting from within. So these people have never worked in this capacity before and are just literally guessing. Current dean of students was a special Ed teacher who worked with my kid. Now she somehow promoted herself to Dean. Hopefully she’ll find competence one day.
