It's not "counter to the ideology of Christianity" to want time off from work or school to observe Good Friday. I don't mind taking the time off to do it personally (I usually do), but the idea that a cultural Christian would want Good Friday off but a practicing one wouldn't is backwards and silly.[/quote]
