DD got into some top SLACs, but she's going to our flagship. If she'd gotten into Harvard, I'd pat her on the back, frame the letter, and send her to our flagship. Not worth the money for very smart kids like DD who will succeed anywhere. OP, I'd choose UVA, unless I had a far larger income or millions in non-retirement savings. [/quote]
