So funny - I saw him at the Lafayette farmers market last weekend - in an attempt to introduce himself he said to my husband " Hi, are you a republican?"
Is the kid a republican? If so, he'll get a vote from moi. We need some counter-balance on the Council.
This is the Democratic primary, but Eric Goulet, who is running as a Democrat, has basically positioned himself to the right of every other candidate. He may as well have been a Republican, and I hope he gets clobbered. Not what we need in the District right now.
Thank you for this name; you did my research for me. I now know who to follow and support. When I get those annoying polling calls (at least 2 per week), I will note this.
If this is your view on things, I would suggest you vote for Matt Frumin. Frumin is slightly less conservative than Goulet, but he has a much stronger record of being involved in, and getting things done in Ward 3 on schools, affordable housing, and more. He hits the sweet spot of being competent and not being too liberal.
What does "slightly less conservative" mean?
