Housing prices have risen considerably in this area. If commuting was not an issue I would consider looking at Olney instead. I would not pay $800K for a house in FV to go to Rockville High.[/quote]

Yeah, you can still find a home in Manor Lake (feeding to FVES) for around $600k.

And Rockville High has its perks: the IB program (without a magnet like RM) is a nice option, and it’s the smallest school in the county. It compares favorably to both Sherwood and Magruder (especially considering commutes), which I’m not sure was the case 10 or 15 years ago.[/quote]
