For any shape, this can also happen when the leggings are just ridiculously too big or stretched out all around-- that will happen to anyone of any shape, of course-- that's just sagging pants. But if this were the case you'd probably (?) know it.

I guess the only thing would be-- and this would be more likely with an apple shape-- you LOATHE even a hint of muffin top or anything cutting into your waist, so you really do buy leggings too big to serve their purpose, really.

I’m a “pear” and after having 10 lbs although my leggings technically still fit I’ve had to go up a size because the butt/thigh pull things downward. The waist isn’t tight - fits like always, but I gain in my butt & thighs… [/quote]
