You have no idea what her intentions were but you immediately assumed the worst. That is strange or there is more to the story, like she was waiting fists drawn, until she saw your husband and decided it wasn't worth taking him on.
Yes, I'm sure her glaring daggers into my windshield with arms crossed was actually going to turn into a "HAPPY SUNDAY!" when I got out.
Maybe she was going to apologize for the trouble but then was too embarrassed and lost her nerve.
Her body language was not what I would call apologetic.
Are you sure she wasn't just watching you pull in to see how you did it and if you could get your car in?
Yes, I'm sure. After we'd parked she was still standing and waiting. She only turned around (shaking her head) when my husband got out of the car. Anyway, the point of this story isn't that I had a horrible thing happen to me more than it is that people shouldn't be cruising for a confrontation with a perfect stranger over something completely and utterly insignificant.
See there was more to the story, aggressive body language. In your original post you only referenced your perception that she was infuriated so maybe your assumption was correct. A really irate person who wanted to tell you off would probably not be intimidated by a husband though. Doubtful she really wanted to brawl, but maybe you'll get your answer if she responds. At any rate, that lot is awful, once I realized I could park at Whole Foods with validation and walk across the street I never tried to park there again.
