For my kids, being able to explore their interests in being sporty or musical or artistic without having to be the best for 100 miles around was a big win. It's a gem of a place. Not sure why someone thought there aren't enough choice of clubs - that strikes me as just untrue.

FWIW, and purely anecdotally, I don't think many kids leave during high school. The students who leave after being at Burke for middle school generally are either looking for a big high school experience or their parents move them for other reasons.
