This is tiresome. Rest assured MCPD will still do their jobs because we have a very good police force. Yes, many are tired of Jawando’s unnecessary attacks on their honor and professionalism. That doesn’t change the fact they’ll do their jobs. Yes, the police care. If you don’t believe that, perhaps it’s time for you to do a ride-along or enroll in the citizen’s academy. Then you can meet some actual officers instead of listening to whatever social media decides to spew.[/quote]

Do you understand a girl was assaulted (or raped) at a high school?  Do you understand police did not do their job as this was covered up?  Do  you understand that the police aren't there within 5 minutes because MCPS didn't report it?  MCPD cannot do their job if they don't have staff in the schools who work outside of MCPS to do what is best for our kids.  Imagine the horror of those parents?  Everyone here screams mental health issues.  Now this is truly a mental health  issue as this child will have long term issues because she was attacked at school and no one, NO ONE protected her.  So, when you are screaming mental health and no SRO's because your Larlina cannot be at home with you as your homelife sucks, think of what has been done to this child.[/quote]
