Yes, it is. Here's a brief synopsis with some direct quotes:

Anxious teacher: (with link to proposed budget) "Proposed budget is up....here we go... first got (sic) take is excitement".

Crazy Ventilation Lady: "What's to be excited about? I don't see a damn dollar for air quality or better masks. Anywhere.(........more hysteria...........) But we are SUPER KIDDING OURSELVES if we think COVID is over. (..........more hysteria.........)"

NP. I wish she would create her own FB group. She overwhelms conversations and takes away from the group. I used to find nice helpful information on that site but with people like her, I don't visit as much anymore. Such a shame.[/quote]

I don't read a lot of AEM posts so this one surprised me. She really did say "What's to be excited about?" which completely undermines/erases the good news for teachers and workers who DESERVE raises and to teach smaller classes. When folks called her out on it, she tried to suggest that she could be excited for teachers and angry...but she really just said she was angry.

I do not want any money going towards masks that might go towards someone's salary. Masks won't even be required in a few weeks. Perhaps it is wishful thinking, but masks can come and go with variants but we need good teachers all the time. [/quote]

Same - I don’t read too many posts there, either, but was interested in budget discussion.  Definitely taken aback at the “there’s nothing to be happy about” attitude when this is one of the least crappy things APS has put forth in quite some time.  Jeeez.  [/quote]
