My kid is a super picky eater. I will not judge you if my kid chooses not to eat what he is served as a guest. Hopefully he is not rude and declines politely- and I hope you will tell me if he is not polite so we can work on it at home. I serve things my kids eat + veggies. usually carrots, peppers, and cucumbers set out with dip or hummus. Fruit salad or apple slices. I put those out to graze on. Lunch is pizza, quesadilla, Mac and cheese, cheese and crackers, etc.
My kid is a very picky eater with some food issues so we have typically avoided meals or planned to eat some where that I know they like (chick fil a etc). I would probably have to pack a lunch if DC was eating at someone’s house, to be honest. DC eats lots of healthy food just in fairly specific ways.
