[/quote] Yes, that was us too for our firstborn. DC1 was very needy and we both needed to be there for her. DC2 was complete opposite and did everything on his own. I love them both to bits and we have a tight family. They are adults now and their childhood and teenage years had similar results (great students, good kids, high achievers, responsible) - our journey as parents could not have been more different with both our kids.
