People really do not understand  OPEC and markets, do they? I can't tell if they are being deliberately obtuse to score a cheap political point or if they really are this uninformed.

The United States produces most of the natural gas that it consumes. BUT no matter how much we produce, the price of gas is absolutely determined by OPEC ftmp.
