It was true in my kids school, but we have a friend who was not top 10% in another county school who did get in with a 4.5 and solid scores. HIs school got something like 30+ kids accepted compared to ours which accepted 10 or 11. It was generally understood that this particular class at his school was super strong. Same school one year later is not having anywhere near the same results.[/quote]
