We have decided to get the tooth colored one done with the other dentist. I saw a pp mentioned that a tooth colored one requires a root canal? That’s not true- at least not in our circumstance! We accept the risk that it may not last until the tooth falls out and we will need to do it over again. My daughter has been wayyyy ahead of typical timelines for losing her teeth (she already lost 7 and 6 of the adult teeth are either fully or more than half way already in and all her 7 year molars are fully in. In light of this, we and her dentist anticipate she will likely lose the first molar around 8-9years old so there is a strong chance the tooth colored crown will keep until the tooth falls since it’s only 2-3 years.[/quote]
