I have a 2019 honda odyssey and it didnt start in the parking lot. I got it jumped and it worked fine and then I got home after about driving for 15 minutes. I checked the battery at home and it showed as 12.1 V which I believe is low. After about 30 minutes I decide to go to autozone and get a new battery. The car wont start again. The battery is only 2 years old and I am surprised the battery has already discharged enough that it wont start again this quickly after only 30 minutes of parking. I used a voltmeter and it shows 12.1 V which is low but then I went to my other car and it showed 12.2 (small sedan). should I be expecting the sedan to stop starting pretty soon also? Could there be something else that is wrong with the odyssey besides the battery? Thank you.
2019 should still be under warrenty. Why not take it in?
Not for a dead battery. OP new cars typically come with a 2 year battery, which it sounds your are at the end of. Have it jumped again and take it to AutoZone, if you're unable to change it yourself. How old is the battery in your sedan?
