kaiser, like most insurance is NOT as good with mental health. THey try, and as a mental health professional myself - it's not perfect anywhere, but it can leave a little to be desired as it can take awhile to get an appointment, etc. But they do run a lot of groups which can be helpful. but if you have a kid with serious mental health needs, I would give yourself a little more choice. But one of my children has ADHD and we have stayed with Kaiser because the benefits outweigh the negatives. [/quote]
