I think the box recipe is 1/2 cup (4oz) oil? So that's 1 entire 4oz stick of butter, melted. They come out tasting far better than any $2 box of brownies ever should. I think I've sometimes added a splash of coffee or half a teaspoon of vanilla but not required.[/quote]
