Now that I think about it, when dd applied, Banneker got their act together early.  Compared to the other schools, they were impressively organized.  (Dd got to the interview stage at Banneker but not past it. I was sorry she didn't make it in but she wasn't and the committee clearly picked up on her feelings.) It was later in the spring when she heard from the Humanities Magnet program at Wilson. Ellington was the latest.  She got the acceptance call from them the same day she was shadowing at Walls after having been accepted.

Okay, this all is to say that the other schools (if you have applied to them) may still be getting their act together.  If it were me, I would take the Banneker offer and wait to see what else happens.
