Agreed. But all that goes out the window if you leave the door open.

I do not enter our bathroom if my DH is in there without some verbal question. My DH does not enter the bathroom when I am in there without some verbal question. I would lose my mind if he did that all the time. [/quote]

I close the door when I want privacy. I teach my children the same thing. I can’t imagine going to bathroom with the door open and getting mad that someone walked in on me and violated my privacy. That seems so bizarre.

I don't always close the door if I assume no one is coming to the bedroom that is attached to the bathroom. I also often open the door after a shower because of steam. If one of us sees the other person is in the bathroom, we will say, are you busy or can I come in?[/quote]
