The IOC is corrupt itself but they really need to step back and rethink the demands being placed on host countries. Politics aside, Beijing is really a terrible destination for the Winter Olympics to begin with. There continues to be a decent pool of candidates for the summer Olympics but winter is really getting to be slim pickings. Milan has it for 2026, maybe Stockholm will try again for 2030.[/quote]
