No well educated PE teacher would do this. It’s an outdated practice that is completely inappropriate and turns kids off of physical activity in general- the opposite of what I hope to do with my students. I’m not shocked that it’s happening at a private school though- the teacher probably learned plow to teach PE from watching 80s movies.[/quote]
