If you are willing to spend that much on extensions, why not just buy new and better mascara? Some are really amazing and many are made for sensitive eyes - I know because I have them. A primer before mascara makes a huge difference!
Do you have any you recommend? I like the Loreal Voluminous Primer - definitely gave my lashes a longer effect. But I still have not found any mascara that BOTH: - doesn't irritate my eyes and - doesn't leave me looking like a raccoon in the morning after I tried my best to remove it all before bed. I feel like it's one or the other. I tried the more "clean" versions, I like those, but they tended to get in my eyes/irritate. I actually found the waterproof versions, like the basic pink & green one, least irritating, probably because it's just staying on my lashes and not melting or falling into my eyes. BUT then I find them so difficult to get off, I think I got them all off and then I wake up with huge dark under eye circles due to the residue --- which is the very thing I'm trying to reduce the appearance of/disguise by lengthening/darkening my eyelashes#! I end up regretting basically every time I wear mascara, LOL.
