But I’m betting that now that the story is out in the public, Roberts will pressure Gorsuch to cave, and then will issue some bland statement claiming it’s all a big misunderstanding. Regardless of what bullshit statements get issued, the proof will be in whether something changes - maybe Roberts forces Gorsuch to start wearing a mask again, or maybe Gorsuch gets moved to another spot on the bench. Roberts is going to try to paper over this mess. Gorsuch remains an asshole though. Not surprising given that he’s a trump appointment. [/quote]
