You're really spreading vile gossip about this woman and mother and making it seem like 'everyone' in Richmond detests her. Morrissey is a f**king creep. However some of your original facts are wrong. Yes, he's a pedophile who had sex with her at 17 numerous times - I don't care if he denies it, he's lying. But she didn't give birth until she was 19 - not 17. And they got married when she was 21 - a full four years after their relationship was revealed.

You can argue about their age difference all you want, but plenty of midwestern brides marry and give birth at the same age. So leave her alone.

Look, you can keep posting stats on Virginia Senate District 16 all you want but it shows a complete lack of understanding of who he is and who voted for him. I am not sure why you spend so many posts defending him, but yes, the average Richmonder thinks he’s gross and a joke.  Maybe spend some of that fighting energy you have to help victims of sex abuse or charities that help child brides like Too Young to Wed.

PS - There are plenty articles out there on why Morrissey keeps winning his district.  He’s very cunning to his target audience, lower to middle class AA. His district is an overwhelming AA majority. He pounds the pavement for their votes the old fashion way (knocks on doors, goes to community events, speaks at churches), is very good at remembering what people told him and will every now and then make a big scene on the Senate floor or in front of a microphone on a topic a constituent told him about. He makes huge promises to his voters, tells them no one else will listen to them like him. He’s their white savior. And now he brings his AA barely out of her teens wife and their 4 biracial kids to seal the deal. He’s got Hopewell and Petersburg in his district. He’s done zero for either.
