Well some parents have to work and can’t do that with a toddler home.  And the quarantines are frustrating- I dont WANT my kid to get Covid but boy, if someone asked me whether to choose between a mild Covid case (14 day isolation) or repeated 14-day quarantines for exposure, I’d have to stop and think for a minute, you know? Pp here. All of us have to work. And I’m glad I kept my kid home because someone sent a covid+ kid to school this week and now everyone has to quarantine anyway. At least I don’t have to also worry that my kid who is too young to be vaccinated has been exposed.[/quote]

+1. But I am grateful that we both work from home and can trade off. Not all of the families at our daycare have that luxury- there are a couple where both parents work outside the home as teachers, doctors, etc.  So I’d rather leave daycare for them right now since we can keep ours home easier.[/quote]

This is my feeling, too. Both of us WFH with fairly flexible hours so we can keep up with work by switching off and adding a few hours in the evening/weekend. Don’t get me wrong, it sucks and I hate it, but I keep telling myself it’s temporary. [/quote]
