DP than the FB page poster.  Google “Making Room Arlnow.”  ArlNow used to run a column on this topic but it is no longer running the column bc there was a thought that the folks who disagreed with the authors were posting unacceptable comments.  It ran until Dec 2021 so you’ll find most of what you need in those articles and it very likely reflects the current YIMBY FB page views.  One of the most extreme authors, Jane Feigen Green, also has a public Twitter account where you can see some of her views, but I would recommend the articles over going through Tweets which cover various topics and not just this issue.  I’m confident you’ll find what you need there.  Please participate in the public process to the extent that you can.[/quote]

Ironically, Jane Feigen Green now has a child in Oakridge ES and is pushing for a larger school at Oakridge -- to accommodate all the people she wants to welcome to Arlington.  The person who runs the YIMBY Facebook page for Arlington and Alexandria is a total loon.  Sadly, one of the active YIMBY members has just been made head of the planning commission for Arlington. That means that everything the YIMBYs want will be considered by the Arlington's planners -- who already want as much density as possible in the County -- and rubber stamped by the County Manager and the ACB  because they need tax revenue to replace the taxes from hotels, restaurants, and commercial buildings.
