It was an experiment, not a troll thread. I explained that quite clearly in my OP to that thread. And it demonstrated the double standards here quite effectively, if I do say so.

TBH I saw the anti-Catholic thread and thought it needed reporting, but then decided against reporting because you usually don’t do much about things I report. Perhaps if you spent more time in the religion forum you’d have a better idea about the constant hate there. [/quote]

You still don't get it. Your thread was not created for purposes of discussion. The posts were not your honest beliefs. You simply subjected an innocent party to unfair negative posts because you were upset about something that didn't involve that party. Then, you act like you were the one who was aggrieved. I can understand why you have difficulty with discussions in that forum this is your idea of discussion.

You unwittingly reveal your hand when you accuse me of “subjecting an innocent party to unfair negative posts,” and ban me, even as you defend leaving the original anti-Christian or anti-Catholic post, with the same “unfair” negativity, up.

The Religion forum almost useless because you won’t do anything about the trolls. If you spent much time there, you’d understand that lots of posters, including some atheists, are frustrated by this state of affairs. My little experiment was born out of this frustration. And you just keep demonstrating why: you have to “consider” whether to delete a post where someone says they’re “done with Catholics,” plus your post at 10:06 seems to say the OP was sock-puppet ting but who really knows what you meant, and in any case I’m willing to bet you haven’t banned that “negative” OP. Is it any wonder posters like OP resort to complaining here or doing little experiments like mine, even if we know we’re walking straight into your snark?[/quote]

You repeatedly just make things up out of thin air. Again, no wonder you find the religion forum difficult if this is the way you discuss things. I have not defended leaving the original anti-Christian threads. How could I when I don't even know what threads those are. For all I know, I have deleted them. Since you didn't bother to report them, I have no idea what threads you are talking about. I never questioned whether the OP was sock puppeting. That is another figment of your imagination. The OP provided multiple examples of anti-Catholicism. When I replied, I thought the last example was from a different post because I didn't remember reading it. I then realized that the sentence was from the same post as the earlier examples. I took time to decide whether it was worth removing the entire thread because of that single sentence. I decided it was. Sorry if that bothers you.
