You should also know that there may not be anything any lawyer -- even the best one -- can do to get you the exact result you want.  The law, as currently written, doesn't allow for a lot of leeway.  That doesn't mean you should give up hope, but it does mean that you should probably have an in-person consultation with one or two of the recommendations here (my vote still goes to Maggio & Kattar -- they are widely (and, in my opinion, deservedly) regarded as absolutely the best in DC) and see where it goes from there.
