If the school is recommending MV calculus and then linear algebra for a senior - are these one semester courses? I had always thought these were one year courses. (For that matter, is AP statistics a one year course or one semester?)[/quote]

MV and Linear algebra have been one year courses at my kids' mcps high school (they graduated so not sure if it is currently the same). As is statistics. The pathway would be: grade 10 calculus, grade 11 MV, grade 12 linear/diff eq. [/quote]
