To fix this problem... locate the port at the back of your dishwasher where it attaches to the rack.  Now lower your rack appropriately to align with it. (You may want an empty dishwasher to see better)
Now that you've got the right height to match the back.  Pull out your rack again.  Make sure to fully press in the rack adjusters and set it back to your usual heigh - ensuring that the bottom of the rack itself that has the port stays aligned with the port. I had to jostle mine a few times to ensure it stayed at the correct height before mine was fixed.
