FCCPS rarely closes for snow.
They caved to what the other schools in the region were doing and unnecessarily closed for covid for 6 months last year so not sure why this would prove any different
They were the only district fully open twice in November and April, but COVID also isn't snow.
Umm they were definitely fully not open last November.
They were, my kid was in school full time for a week in November
One grade at each school was back for about a week total before they shut it down again. FCCPS didn’t “open” in November in any meaningful way. (1 of my 3 kids went back for that Nov week and the others didn’t go back until Feb/Mar — can’t remember when they finally opened).
That's not true, TJ was open for all grades - was MD not open?
None of the grades were back full time in November (Although you have to love the revisionist history). K and 3rd grade went back for 1.5 weeks total of hybrid (half days)and 1-2 and 4-5 went back for 3-4 days of hybrid (half days). Then back to fully virtual for everyone until the end of February.
My child is not in K or 3rd and was back to school full time in November...
They did take a small number of students with IEPs/special needs back full time in November, so I’m assuming that your child must have fallen in that category but the vast majority of students in all grades were not back full time.
