Given how warm it has been lately, I am skeptical that we will have much actual accumulation.  I think they should have waited until tomorrow morning to make the call.  If people need to make alternative plans for tomorrow, they could have done that now even if school hadn’t officially closed. [/quote]

It’s an AM rush hour storm for the heaviest snow. Otherwise known as a cluster-f. The models are actually calling for 10+ inches of snow, the the ground estimates are being reduced because of the warm temperatures and that it will rain first. [/quote]

What models are calling for Arlington to get 10+ inches of snow? CWG is estimated 2-6, and even they acknowledge the warm ground temperatures could minimize accumulation. [/quote]

PP is talking about what the clouds have the capability of producing versus what will accumulate/fall to the ground. [/quote]
