PP here. I had three doses of the vaccine while pregnant. I am definitely concerned about my newborn, but my pediatrician says she probably has some immunity from my vaccine doses. What they’ve seen in toddlers and babies, even newborns, has thankfully been mild. Pediatrician doesn’t think it’s worth keeping older child home at this point, and we’ll all likely end up picking it up sooner or later. That said I may still keep my 3yo home next week and see where we are. If it’s going to be fast surge, it might be worthwhile to prolong exposure.[/quote]
