Many of my coworkers get to work an hour and a half before students arrive and stay an hour after dismissal. They respond to emails at 9 pm. So don’t sit there and say WE are refusing to DO MORE as parents sit there and complain, kids don’t listen, and admin sits in their offices while putting out fires all day long. Come to my classroom for ONE HOUR and tell me I’m not doing enough. It’s parents like you all that make me lose my passion for a profession I have poured my heart into for 12 years. You’ll all be really really sorry as the good ones keep quitting and then all you’re left with are mediocre teachers. So stop complaining on these threads and support teachers instead of tearing them down. [/quote]
