I really don’t think it’s arbitrary. I don’t think you can ever be fully safe in any circumstances. “Either it’s safe to drive or it’s not.” Well, it’s not safe because people die in car crashes all the time but I’m still going to take the risk. In this case I have just said “no unvaccinated adults” as a way of balancing risk and benefit. [/quote]

Not the OP.  This is false.  DH and DD would have to actually catch Covid.  Then OP would have to catch it from them.  That second situation is less likely to happen-  the virus has to transfer through an extra layer of people to get to OP.  I don’t know if I’m explaining it properly, but this is what our doctor explained to us when we had a similar situation. [/quote]
