They have a compensation working group going on now in the hopes that they can streamline the scale and reinstate steps. A couple APS teachers made some spreadsheets comparing salaries at various career points. I think LCPS was actually the leader in many categories. [/quote] LCPS pays their inexperienced teachers well but beyond 15 years their pay scale is pretty terrible. If APS makes all the changes they are talking about they will be top 3 highest for a lot of different career points.[/quote]
