It was a good and helpful story, one of the most helpful things I've read on this board in fact since we are planning a similar full house paint job and worried about the mess. So thanks to PP to sharing those details.
Ah, thank you. Came to this thread today and did not realize that someone had asked for the contact info. Sorry, I cannot give contact info on this site and without the permission of the contractor. I will however tell you that my cost was higher because of our health concerns and the extra cleaning etc. I included the cost of scaffolding because I was paranoid about a worker falling and injuring themselves because the company was small and I really did not know what their legal work status was. This meant that I was strict about making sure that they rented the safety scaffolding and took precautions when painting high ceilings etc. This was a few years ago. I also got the work done during winter (around Christmas) and these guys did not have too much work at that time. They do not have time to take on work in Summer because they will do large scale commercial work (hotels, hospitals etc) in summer and are much in demand. If you ask around, I am sure you will get a very good price and professional work. Winter is the best time to hire these contractors because they are not very busy at this time.
